A boxed set containing a composition doll with glass eyes, clothes, wigs, and accessories. The doll has cropped hair and is dressed in a brightly colored flower kimono. The set contains three black wigs in the following traditional hairstyles: Momoware, Shitajimage, and Takashimada. The set also contains an alternate kimono, a paper fan, an umbrella, and sandals. The doll is mounted on a wooden stand for display. A booklet is provided for additional information about Hanako dolls and Japanese hairdressing.

The doll is in excellent condition. The wooden display stand is slightly discolored from age. The original box shows signs of wear.

1950s

The set contains three styles of wigs, Momoware, Shitajimage, and Takashimada. The wigs are black with added cloth accents. The paper fan is a shiny gold color with a peach-colored flower pattern. The sandals are black and red. The umbrella opens and is a bright pink color.
