Japan as a study in contrasts, juxtaposing festivals with participants in period costume and sumo wrestling with the pachinko parlors, neon lights and nightlife of contemporary Tokyo. More quotidian interaction is interspersed between these two extremes, including city traffic, Tokyo landmarks, a baseball game and a quick introduction and exchange of business cards on a street corner in the city.
